28 th August 2025, RSCT was honored to welcome His Excellency, Lieutenant General Kamel El Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Transport, Mr. Walid Gamal El Din - SCZone Chairman, Admiral/ Nehad Shaheen - Deputy Minister of Transport for Maritime Transport, Mr. Sherif El Kilany - Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr. Ahmed Amawy - Egyptian Customs Authority Chairman along with distinguished guests, colleagues, and partners, to celebrate the arrival of the first batch of equipment at Red Sea Container Terminals.
This milestone marks the successful delivery and safe offloading of 3 state-of-the-art remote-controlled Ship-to-Shore cranes (STS) and 12 automated rubber-tired gantry (RTGCs). More than just equipment, these cranes symbolize our ongoing commitment to building a world-class port facility in Sokhna, strengthening Sokhna's role as a vital hub in the market.
From design and engineering to fabrication and delivery, this achievement is the result of nearly 18 months of teamwork, dedication, and international collaboration across different time zones. Today, the results stand tall at our quay, paving the way for even greater progress ahead. We look forward to the next phase of our journey in delivering excellence at the Red Sea Container Terminal.
