Our Services

RSCT provides integrated container terminal services designed to ensure efficient cargo handling, seamless connectivity, and reliable operations.

Container Terminal

Our terminal plays a vital role in connecting Egypt to global trade routes, positioning the country as a key maritime hub between Asia, Europe, and Africa.

With a quay length of 1,200 metres, four deep-water berths, and a draft of up to 18 metres, the terminal is designed to accommodate the latest generation of container vessels.

RSCT is Egypt’s first automated container terminal, supported by advanced ship-to-shore cranes and a modern yard equipped with electric rubber-tyred gantry cranes, ensuring efficient, safe, and reliable container handling.

The terminal has a design capacity of 1.6 million TEUs, enabling fast vessel turnaround, optimised cargo movement, and seamless connectivity across international shipping networks.

One-Stop Terminal:

RSCT operates as a fully integrated one-stop terminal, designed to streamline cargo movement and enhance operational efficiency across the entire port environment.

The terminal provides dedicated internal transportation between the port gate, yard, and quay side, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient movement of cargo throughout the facility.

Beyond the port boundaries, RSCT is connected to the national railway network and key industrial zones, enabling efficient inland transport of cargo, raw materials, and finished goods.

This integrated logistics ecosystem reduces handling costs, shortens transit times, and improves overall supply chain efficiency.

Smart Terminal Operations

RSCT utilises advanced remote operation stations, enabling operators to control ship-to-shore cranes and yard equipment from a centralised control room.

This technology enhances operational efficiency, improves safety, and allows precise container handling through real-time monitoring and digital control systems.

In addition, RSCT integrates maritime, road, and rail transport to support seamless cargo movement beyond the port boundaries.

Dedicated railway lines within the terminal provide direct connectivity to Egypt’s national railway network and key industrial zones, enabling efficient inland transport of cargo and strengthening the overall logistics ecosystem.
